Flax
A material that we are particularly fond of
The choice of our linens
Linen is one of our favorite materials!
Because it is thermoregulating, resistant, and will acquire a patina over time. But above all because it is a local plant! 50% of the world's cultivation is done in France. More generally, 80% of the world's flax is grown on the coastal strip from Caen to Amsterdam via Belgium.
In recent years, the production of linen, its cultivation and its transformation into fabrics have been reintroduced and revalued in our territory. And we are proud to contribute to this revaluation, by purchasing raw materials made from linen cultivated, spun and woven in France by releasing a dedicated capsule collection.
Of course, when possible, we select linen materials entirely made in France. When the availability of French linen is not sufficient, we choose European linens certified by labels such as Masters of Linen® or European Flax® .
We are working hard to ensure that linen appears more regularly in our future collections.

PEOPLE AT THE HEART OF OUR DECISIONS
We place ethics at the heart of our decision-making. French linen ensures the creation and maintenance of employment, but also respect for the working conditions of our partners thanks to a local culture.
OUR COMMITMENTS TO PRESERVING THE ENVIRONMENT
Flax is a virtuous plant of great quality thanks to the resistance of its natural fiber. It has a low environmental impact thanks to its low water consumption and its cultivation does not require chemicals.
REDUCING OUR IMPACT ON CLIMATE DISRUPTION
Flax ensures better CO2 retention by the soil. This reduces the impact on climate change compared to conventional flax cultivation.
