The importance of not letting our materials sleep

Since our beginnings, we have made a habit of not letting the materials from our previous collections sleep at the back of a cupboard, when there are any left. We want each of our materials to find its place and be embellished through beautiful products.

In the past, every July, we launched a collection called "Responsible Waste" designed from materials from dormant stocks and those of our partners. Today, we make sure to integrate these materials into each of our collections in order to use them continuously.

This is a real desire and conviction at Balzac Paris: 6% of our models are designed with these dormant materials.

We waste less

By using existing materials, we avoid wasting unused fabrics and thus significantly reduce our environmental impact.

A plus for the planet

Reusing these materials avoids the production of new materials, which can be energy-intensive. In this way, we save the valuable resources needed to produce the materials.

A sustainable approach

Using existing materials allows us to have a more sustainable approach and to focus on reusing our resources.
